About Us

Lapiz Country Hotel was established in April 2017. Its name originates from a family whose members’ first names all begin with the letter ‘P’. One evening, the family held a prayer meeting to pray for the new enterprise and to coin a suitable name for it. A little one in the meeting suggested, ‘give it our names’. But since the names were many, another proposed shortening them. They then agreed that, as all first names began with ‘P’, the Hotel’s name should reflect this. Thus, they suggested, the name, ‘The Ps’. However, a French-speaking member of the family refined it to as ‘La’ for ‘The’ and ‘Piz’ for ‘Ps’, creating the name ‘LaPiz’. Being located in a quiet and serene countryside environment, the enterprise was named ‘Lapiz Country Hotel’. To-date, Lapiz Country Hotel continues to deliver memorable services to her clients, making it truly a Place to Be. Visit is to experience this history.
